Ramona D. Marek, MS ED. – Writer

Ramona D. Marek is an award-winning freelance writer and former special education teacher who holds a master’s degree in education. For 20 years, she taught special needs students ranging in age from 18 months to 20 years in public and private schools.

A life-long animal lover, Ramona grew up with dogs as family pets and actively rescued stray dogs and cats and, more than occasionally birds, squirrels and rabbits, that followed her home.

When she was not rescuing animals, Ramona was busy writing and as a child, she and her mother often sat on the front porch creating stories together.

Ramona writes about various topics and rigorous research is her trademark. She finds inspiration in her two feline muses, Tsarevich Ivan, a pedigreed Siberian, and Natasha Fatale, a full-time diva adopted from the local shelter.
